William Artman

Born in Cullman, AL. He travelled extensively from Alabama to Washington State back to Memphis, TN. Graduated from South Side High School in Memphis.

While working at a local bank he met and married the love of his life Joy Lou Butler in 1951. He enlisted in the service. For the next 22 years he and Joy roamed around with the Air Force with 2 children, Dennis & Donald. After retiring from the Air Force he went back into banking. He eventually retired from PNC.

He's survived by both sons, Dennis (Anita) Donald (Rhonda), 4 grandchildren, Robert, Denise, Deana & Shelby, and 6 great grandchildren Maya, Sophia, Silas, Kaleb, Joel, and Aldon.

A wonderful father who lived a long, adventurous life and cherished his time with family and friends. All will greatly miss his sense of humor, wit, and kindness.
