Virginia Shaw, born on July 21, 1936, passed away on December 12, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Shaw Jr. and grandson William D. Milliner. She leaves behind her four children—Rita Shaw, LueWana Bankston, Carmen Scott-Savage, and Mychael (Miguel) Shaw—along with 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Virginia’s life was one of resilience and perseverance. Though her journey was not always easy, she faced life on her own terms and taught her family the value of strength in adversity. Those who knew her well will remember her unapologetic spirit, and the rare but cherished glimpses of kindness she offered to those who reached her heart.
