Virginia Miller Obituary (1933 - 2026)

Virginia M. Miller, affectionately known as “Skipper” by her parents, entered this world on Valentine’s Day, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio. Her life was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love. She was a beacon of strength, an inspiration to many, and the heart of her family. Virginia's life was as vibrant as it was varied. Her love of travel and adventure, passion for craft hobbies, and talents as a dancer, pianist and organist brought adventure and joy to Virginia and those around her. Virginia was a devoted mother and a beloved member of the Dayton community. She is survived by her children and their partners: William (Mally) Miller, Elisha (Paula) Miller II, Lea (Mike) Mays, Gloria (Tom) Hardy-Dunyak, Camilla (John) Hall, and Tina (Dave) Wiley. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Mildred (Orlie) Perkey, her father, Henry Benjamin Gay, ex-husband, Elisha Miller I, and her significant other, Robert Fulton. Virginia's legacy for her cherished children, 18 grandchildren, soon to be 29 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild is one of unyielding love. Her passing leaves a void that will be impossible to fill. Yet, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
