Dayton, Ohio
It is with a heart full of love that I, Naomi, share the passing of my beloved husband, Ronald Bledsoe, who transitioned on March 25, 2025. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 24, 1949, and it was here that he spent his entire life, building a legacy of love, loyalty, intelligence, and compassion. Ronald was the epitome of these qualities which were evident in every role he played, be it as a dedicated employee at the Potato Chip Factory, where he worked diligently in Shipping and Receiving until his retirement, or as an enthusiastic hobbyist with a passion for Ford cars and trucks.
Ronald was a loving husband, a loyal brother, a smart uncle, and a compassionate step-father. He was a pillar of strength for our family, a beacon of light that guided us through life's most challenging storms. His love for his family was surpassed only by his love for his faith. As a devoted member of Religious Science for 38 years, he found profound peace and spiritual growth. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and it was through this shared spiritual journey that our paths crossed, leading to our blessed union in 1993. In the words of Ernest Holmes, founder of Religious Science, "Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it," Ronald reflected love, light, and joy into the world and it was returned to him tenfold.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Naomi; his brother, Tom Bledsoe; his step-son, Charlie II; his nephew, David Humphrey and his wife Laura; and his great-nephews, Ethan and Evan Humphrey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lexi and Robert Bledsoe; his sister, Barbara Humphrey; and his nephew, Brian Humphrey. A Celebration of Ronald's Life will be held at Mt. Zion Church, 428 Shepherd Rd., Xenia OH 45385 on Monday, March 31st from 2pm to 4pm. As we gather to remember and honor Ronald's life, we will be reminded of his unwavering faith, his steadfast love for his family, and his remarkable spirit that continues to inspire us all.
We invite you to share your memories and upload photos to the memorial page. Every story, every picture, every shared moment serves as a testament to the incredible life Ronald lived and the indelible mark he has left on our hearts. His spirit lives on through these shared memories, and in this way, we keep his memory alive.
