Robert Skinner, Jr.

Mr. Robert Skinner Jr. passed away at Marie Joseph on October 5, 2026 in Dayton, Ohio in his sleep, at the grateful age of 76 years old.

Robert Skinner was born on May 4, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to his parents the late Robert Lee Skinner Sr and Queen Ester Skinner-Barr. Robert is also preceded in death by Sister Mary Lee Skinner and Daughter Brittany Williams and Nephew Chris Skinner.

Robert Skinner had many jobs but his favorite was being a cook at Izzys restaurant in Dayton Ohio. He is survived by his three Daughters Alecia (Gary) Brown of Dayton, OH, Britannika Williams of Dayton, OH and Donneisha Williams of Dayton, OH; and his Son Antonio (Shaunice) Williams of Nashville Tennessee.

He is also survived by his two Brothers Elwood Skinner of Flint, MI and David Skinner of Burton, MI. His Nieces Teresa Skinner of Dayton, OH, and Delicia Skinner and Chontee Skinner of Alabama and Nephew Lewis Skinner of Dayton, OH; Elwood Skinner Jr; Marcus Skinner, David Skinner Jr., and Dominique Huddleston.

His legacy continues through his Grandchildren; Raevene Wiggins (Dayton, OH), Taylana Brown (Dayton, OH), Anigh Williams (Nashville, TN), Bray’Lynn Jackson (Nashville, TN), Antonio Williams Jr (Nashville, TN); and Nephew Paul Skinner (Dayton, OH). In addition, he leaves a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will continue to honor and cherish his memory. Robert’s life was one of love, laughter, and devotion to family. His legacy of warmth, strength,and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
