Raymond "Mike" M. Grooms Sr. Obituary (1956 - 2025)

Raymond “Mike" M. Grooms Sr. died August 6, 2025, at his residence in Xenia, Ohio, aged 69. Mike was known for his fun-loving personality and outgoing nature. Cars and other vehicles were always a strong passion. In his early years, he worked at his father's sawmill in Jamestown, Ohio, and later in a variety of construction positions. Mike lived most of his life in the Xenia, Ohio area. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond C. Grooms, mother Mary M. McDufford Grooms, brother William “Bill” David Grooms, sister Linda Grooms Bailey, and brother Walter “Chip" Lee Grooms. He is survived by sons Raymond “Mike" M. Grooms Jr., Gregory L. Grooms, Christopher Grooms, Aaron Grooms, and Justin Grooms, daughter Amber Grooms, niece Amy Grooms Marshall, grandchildren Makayla Grooms Barton and Gavin Grooms, several great grandchildren, and numerous friends. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia at a later date
