Mandy Mendenhall Obituary (1968 - 2025)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vikki Manda (Brown) Mendenhall, age 57, passed away from cancer on June 28, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Troy OH. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was born in Piqua, OH on March 25, 1968 to Judith (Hillier) Brown and the late Rollin Brown. She was the youngest of five, survived by her four brothers. Manda is survived by her husband, William Mendenhall. She was a devoted wife of 22 years and the proud mother of three daughters, Demi Miller (32), Allyson Mendenhall (28), and Kamri Mendenhall (15). She gained another loving family when she married her husband William (Bill) in 2003. She is survived by her father-in-law, William Mendenhall Sr, and her two sisters-in-law. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law Marilyn Mendenhall. Manda lived her life with fierce love for her family, as they were her whole world. No matter what challenges came her way, she never hesitated to put her loved ones first. She was the heart of the home. She found peace and joy in nature, especially at the lake, where she loved spending time with those who she held dear. Whether it was a sunny afternoon boating on the water or a crisp day out hunting, her time with friends and family was well spent. Those who knew her would describe her as the strongest woman they ever met – a fighter in every sense. Her resilience was unmatched, her courage constant, and her heart endlessly giving. She taught her daughters how to stand tall, love hard, and face life with both grit and grace. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will carry on in her family and those fortunate enough to have known her. A private family service will be held on July 5, 2025 at the Mendenhall family farm. Before she passed, she made it known she wanted us all to share a laugh and raise a glass in celebration of her journey home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory by planting a tree. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
