Born Leonard Eugene Meddock on March 14, 1948, to Raymond Chester and Betty Ester (Hudson) Meddock at Smith-Everette Hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday December 30, 2025, at 4:05 p.m. Leonard married the love of his life Marilyn (Sue) Meddock on June 15th, 1968, he held many different jobs throughout his lifetime working for a lumberyard at the time of his marriage to working for companies like American Buildings, Elano, Flo-Lizer, Turner Stake and Pallets to retiring from many years of service as a crane operator for Phillips Companies in Alpha, Ohio.

He was a member of the Xenia Eagles for 25 years and also a long-time member of the Xenia Moose.

Leonard was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn S. Meddock, father Raymond C. Meddock, his mother Betty E. Meddock, and his brother Michael Lee Meddock.

Leonard is survived by his children Candy R. Marks (Todd Turner), Christopher (Marsha) Meddock, Matthew S. Meddock (Kristie Miller), daughter-in-law Becky Meddock, his nephew Michael L. Meddock as well as many brothers and sister-in-laws. He was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. All of whom he loved with everything he had. He would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone he could.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday January 25, 2025, 1p.m. at the Xenia Moose Lodge, 947 Cincinnati Avenue, Xenia, OH 45385
