Lawrence C. Pollard, Jr. Obituary (1959 - 2026)

Lawrence Charles Pollard Jr. Lawrence “Chuck” Pollard Jr. , 67, of Englewood, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a long battle with liver disease on February 4, 2026. Born on January 26, 1959 in Dayton ,Ohio, Chuck was the firstborn son of the late Lawrence C. Pollard Sr. and Margaret Anne Pollard (Martin). A star football player at Northmont High School, Chuck went on to serve his country in the US Air Force. Known for his boisterous laugh and easy going nature, Chuck never met a stranger. He had a knack for making friends wherever he went and loved to talk about his dog Jefferson to anyone who would listen. His love of sports was lifelong; he was a Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan and could often be found watching football, baseball, or golf. But Chuck’s favorite place to be was always down at the Ohio River fishing off the dock, going on a boat ride, or sitting by the fire watching the river flow by. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents Larry and Maggie Pollard, his beloved Aunt Betty Martin, Grandparents Helen and Elijah Pollard and Pauline and Bud Martin. He is survived by his children Josh (Brian) Pollard and Christine (Sean) Kacir, grandchildren Fox and Violet, by brothers John Pollard, Steven (Kathy) Pollard, and sister Beth Meece, by nieces and nephew Brittany, Casey, and Brandon.
