On December 30, 2025, Landiel "Lanny" Charles Kelley, a dedicated and resilient soul, embarked on the eternal journey of peace. Born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 1, 1950, Lanny was a man of unparalleled wit and steadfast supportiveness. He found his greatest joy in the love of Christ, his wife of 52 years, his devoted family, and his passion for hunting. Lanny Kelley was a man who wove a lifetime of stories and memories into the fabric of West Milton, Ohio, where he resided for 39 years. He was a loyal and hardworking machine operator at General Motors for 30 years, leaving an indelible mark on the company and his colleagues. But Lanny's soul truly shone through his role as a pastor. For over 30 years, his faithful service and steadfast resilience illuminated the path for many. His heart was always open, and his steadfastness was an anchor in the storm for those he counseled. As John Bunyan once said, "You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you," and by this measure, Lanny lived every day to its fullest. An avid coon hunter and fisherman, Lanny found peace and joy in nature's embrace. His heart echoed with the call of the wild, and his spirit echoed in the soft rustling of the leaves. His witty stories of hunts and fishing trips will always be cherished memories for those who had the privilege to hear them. He is survived by his loving spouse Debbie Kelley, his son Jason and wife Angie Kelley, grandsons Lukas (Nica) Kelley and Dillon (Alivia) Kelley, great-granddaughter Lyla Kelley, granddaughter Gracie Sparks, and countless family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rosa Kelley and his beloved daughter Melissa Kelley.
