Gloria Marsh

–

Detroit , Michigan

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gloria Marie Marsh, a resilient woman who lived life with an unyielding spirit and an unwavering dedication to her loved ones. Born on July 30, 1951, in East Chicago, IN, Gloria spent her life impacting those around her, leaving a legacy of compassion and empathy that will be remembered by all who knew her. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Gloria was a testament to this, her influence and love for others felt profoundly within the hearts of those she touched.

Gloria was a dedicated worker, spending a significant part of her life on the assembly line at Ford Motor Co. She retired from Sterling Axel Plant in Sterling Heights, MI in 2000, carrying with her lessons of hard work and perseverance that she passed on to her family. Gloria was a woman of many interests. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as playing games on her iPad. Angry Birds and Mahjong were her favorites, providing her with amusement and relaxation. A lover of animals, especially dogs, Gloria's empathetic nature extended beyond humans, demonstrating her capacity for endless love and genuine care.

Gloria was a beacon of strength, love, and resilience for her family. She is survived by her son, Rondel (Jeanine) Marsh, her grandchildren Brea Cunningham, Jessica (Jade) Cunningham, Brandon Cunningham, Johnathon Cunningham, Ryan Marsh, and Kayla Marsh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bereatha Givens, her daughter Bereatha Cole, her brother Robert III, and her ex-husband Robert Marsh. Gloria's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones, a testament to her dedicated life and the love she gave so freely.

We encourage friends and family to share their memories and upload photos of Gloria to the memorial page. This will provide comfort and solace during this difficult time, allowing us to remember and celebrate Gloria's life. As we remember her, let us honor the way she lived, with resilience, dedication, compassion, and empathy.
