Edward Amburgey, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Amburgey, Jr., fondly known as Blaine, born on November 15, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio. A beloved father, brother, and friend, Edward was a ray of sunshine in the lives of all who knew him. He was a man of steadfast devotion, always willing to lend a helping hand, and his warm and inviting personality will be deeply missed. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Edward had the uncanny ability to make everyone feel special, loved, and important.

Edward was an integral part of the Dayton community, having lived there for over 40 years. His career as an insulation installer spanned three decades, a testament to his hard work and dedication. His passion for his craft and his commitment to his work were evident to all who had the pleasure of working with him. He had a magical way of turning any situation into a positive experience, living by the words of Albert Einstein, "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." This spirit of optimism was infectious, and he inspired those around him to see the world through his eyes.

Edward is survived by his sons, Josh and Matt Amburgey, who will always remember him as a loving and dedicated father. He has been reunited with his beloved wife, Lenda; his parents, Edward Amburgey and Shirley O’byrne; and his brother, Kenneth Amburgey. We take comfort in knowing that Edward is now at peace and reunited with those he loved and missed.
