Damon Baker

It is with profound sorrow that I, Joshua, announce the passing of my cherished brother, Damon Michael Baker, affectionately known as 'Preacher Man', who departed this world on April 13, 2025, just shy of his 40th birthday. Born on January 18, 1985, in Georgetown, Ohio, Damon was an adventurous spirit who loved to travel and explore the world around him. He was also a humble soul who believed in the power of kindness and compassion. Damon was a courageous man, never afraid to stand up for what he believed in, and his loyalty to those he loved was undying. He was a devout Christian, able to recite the Bible word for word, and lived his life according to the teachings of Christ. "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7) was a verse he held close to his heart. A resident of Aberdeen, Ohio, Damon was a loving father to Alyssa and Aaliyah, a caring brother to Crystal and myself, and a devoted son to his late mother, Rhonda Yokum. His family was what mattered most to him, and he will be deeply missed.
