Cheryl was a devoted V.A nurse, whose loyalty to her patients was matched only by her dedication to her family. Her compassionate nature and generous spirit were evident in every aspect of her life. Cheryl believed in the power of giving, often quoting, "We rise by lifting others," a motto she lived by faithfully. For her lifetime, Dayton was not only her residence but also the community she cherished and served.

Cheryl's life was a testament to the power of love and family. Her children, Chris (Karen) Pennybacker and Lori Pennybacker, along with her beloved grandchildren Olivia, Ray, Jack, Anastasia, and Eva, were the true joys of her life. Cheryl's home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and love. She embraced every opportunity to be active and present in her church at Redemption Christian Tabernacle, where she found a deeper connection to her faith and a supportive community.
