Anna Diaz

It is with a profound sense of loss and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Anna D Diaz. Born in the verdant hills of Orocovis, Puerto Rico on the 9th of September, 1946, Anna gracefully graced this world with her presence until January 27th, 2025. Known for her loving, compassionate, and supportive spirit, Anna was a beacon of warmth and resilience, always lighting the way for those around her.

Anna was a dedicated woman, both in her personal and professional life. She was employed at a local nursing home where she took on the responsibility of laundry, a task she carried out with a sense of commitment and kindness. After a fulfilling career, she retired in 2011, dedicating her time to the things she loved most - her family, and her passion for cooking. She resided in Englewood, Ohio, having previously lived in Whitinsville, MA. Anna's life was a testament to the words of Albert Schweitzer, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others."

Anna was a loving mother to her daughters, Dianna Green and Susana LeBeau. She held them close to her heart, bestowing upon them the values of kindness and love. Her compassionate nature and unwavering support were the pillars of strength for her family. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Carmelo Aponte and Felicita Alicea, who instilled in her the virtues of resilience and compassion.
