Adam Thomas Kahelin

With a heavy heart and sadness, we announce the passing of our Son Adam Thomas Kahelin, on July 16th, 2026. Born on March 20th, 1978. Adam had an adventurous spirit, courage and a loving nature.

Adams love for the natural world was a testament of his adventurous spirit. He found peace in the woods and around water. His experiences in nature were not just hobbies, but a reflection of his spirit, free and untamed. He had a special place in his heart for Dogs, whose loyalty and companionship mirrored his own character.

Adam is survived by his beloved Mother Judith Root and Stepfather Steven Root. Christine and Louie Nelson (Nikki, Al, Dylan, Sierra and family.) He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Kahelin and stepbrother David Root. We invite you to celebrate his life and share your memories of him.
